M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming

Now I know that this album has been out for a couple of months now, and I’m sure many of you have heard it, but I just feel like I need to reiterate what many have already said. M83 is a musical act by Anthony Gonzalez from France. His most recent album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming was released a couple months ago in October to some pretty impressive reviews, making multiple top 10 of 2011 lists. After hearing the first single off of the album, Midnight City, and recommendations from a few colleagues of mine, I finally decided to download the album a couple weeks ago. I can promise you that I was fully impressed with the album. I spent about one whole week listening to it non-stop. I enjoyed every minute of it. Now I’m not gonna go into what exactly I liked about the music, because frankly, I’m not very good at dissecting music or telling you what it sounds like. All I can tell you is that I think this album is a must listen. Although I think the whole album is great, I feel the first half is better than the second half. The first 6 songs really make the album for me. Anyways, go download it. Its worth it.
